A 2-hour session where Substantive DSLs new to Sutton Borough will be introduced to the Safeguarding Team and updated on Sutton Safeguarding Practises, including Referrals to CFCS, Chastisement, DA, Operation Encompass, CME and any other subject requested by the attendees.
This training session is suitable for any Substantive DSL or Head Teacher who are new to Sutton Borough.
The aim of this session is to familiarise DSLs who have newly joined a Sutton School from out of Borough in Sutton Safeguarding Practises and Procedures.
After attending this session, you will know all the key safeguarding contacts in Sutton. Know who you can contact for advice and support. Know where you can access training. Know procedures on how to refer safeguarding incidents to Sutton Children Social Care and Early help and how to deal with certain safeguarding concerns. Attendees are encouraged to attend with questions.
