This fully funded training equips you to identify and support 3- to 4-year-old children who are falling behind in their speech, language and communication development.
Led by trained EYFS staff, the program uses engaging story books featuring characters Jake & Tizzy, hands-on props and interactive games to build foundational communication skills before school starts.
This training session is suitable for Early Years practitioners.
The aim of this session is to give you the confidence and tools to deliver a structured, 9-week targeted intervention delivered in small groups (up to 4 children) three times a week for 15–20 minutes.
The learning objectives are to:
- Identify Needs Early: Use simple Tracker tools to pinpoint children needing targeted support.
- Deliver Effective Sessions: Master the delivery of all 27 structured, fun-filled activity sessions.
- Engage Families: Access tools and home-learning storybooks to partner effectively with parents.
- Measure Progress: Track vocabulary, sentence structure, listening, and attention growth to demonstrate clear impact for EYFS profiling.
