For requests relating to unauthorised leave of absence taken during term time that may meet the criteria for a Penalty Notice.
Before submitting:
- Ensure the absence has been coded correctly.
- Check the case meets current Penalty Notice thresholds.
- Gather all relevant attendance and absence information.

Truancy Penalty Notices
For cases where a child has been identified during a truancy patrol and the matter is being referred for consideration of a Penalty Notice.
Before submitting:
- Confirm the pupil was absent without authorisation at the time of the patrol.
