Sutton parents, you’re warmly invited 💛
Supporting an autistic child or young person often starts with understanding their autistic identity. When young people feel seen, understood, and positively supported in who they are, it can make a powerful difference to their confidence, wellbeing, and self-advocacy.
We’re running a parent workshop for Sutton families who want to better understand autistic identity and how to support their child or young person in an affirming, strengths-based way. The session will explore what autistic identity means, how it can develop over time, and how parents can respond with understanding, compassion, and confidence.
This workshop is:
✨ Neurodiversity-affirming
✨ Practical and reflective
✨ A supportive space to learn and ask questions
✨ Suitable for parents of children and young people at different stages of understanding their autism.
Whether your child has recently been recently diagnoses or you’re further along the journey, this workshop offers space to deepen your understanding and feel more equipped to support them.
