Understanding How Trauma Presents in the Classroom
Join us for an online session designed for adoptive parents, foster carers, kinship carers, and residential keyworkers, exploring how trauma can present in the classroom from a theoretical and relational perspective.
This session will support you to develop a deeper understanding of the impact of early experiences on behaviour, engagement, and learning, and how this may be seen within school environments.
Together, we will explore how trauma can influence a child’s responses, and how this understanding can help you to make sense of school-related challenges and support your child more effectively.
This is a supportive space to reflect, build understanding, and strengthen the connection between home experiences and what children may be communicating through their behaviour in education settings.
