Cognus’ Traveller Education Service supports and works directly with some amazing Gypsy, Roma and Traveller children and young people. We want to highlight and celebrate some of their achievements with you.

Book Week Bookworm!
Congratulations to Reception pupil PM who read at home with his mum every day during book week and won a free book of his choice to celebrate his amazing achievement.

Incredible Improvement
Congratulations to pupil AC who, since starting 1:1 sessions with the Traveller Education Service in September, can now spell over 100 tricky words correctly.
That is 50% more than when he started!

On The Up!
After providing support and guidance to parent, pupil LD’s overall attendance percentage has increased by 15% in the last few months. As a result of this LD is more focussed and engaged at school and has made great academic progress.
