On Thursday 16th November 2023, the Education Safeguarding Team attended the Sutton Youth Summit at The St. Nicholas Centre to find out more about what our young people really want and need.
I have so many ideas about what I would like to see in Sutton but sometimes it is hard to put it into words. I have taken lots of information away from today and I even got free pizza

There were a range of information stalls at the event, including careers, volunteering, support for mental health and wellbeing, youth organisations, how to report hate crime and cost-of-living support.
The summit was well attended and there was a buzz in the room throughout. Most importantly our young people got the chance to have their voices heard. Well done to Jenny Batt, our Young Commissioners, and the rest of the team for organising such a powerful event.
