Foster Carers

Foster carers play a vital role in supporting a child or young person’s education through promoting positive learning habits and encouraging curiosity of the world around them.

Foster carers can support the education of children and young people by attending all PEP meetings, reading to the children at home and promoting inquisitive thinking by taking the children on visits and exposing them to a wide range of experiences at home.  Foster carers can help a young person build self confidence as a learner and can encourage them to have high aspirations for their future careers by promoting the importance of education.
